Your neighbourhood bakehouse
What we bake is shaped by time and attention, with recipes that have lived many lives before reaching the table.

Take the time. Taste what it made.
What we bake comes from history and memory. We let ingredients do what they're meant to, with techniques shaped by repetition and years of practice in the kitchen.

“Everyone finds their sweet corner at Dohiti. When I’m with my colleagues, we sit outside (sometimes, we are also welcomed by cats 🥹). When it’s with friends, we find ourselves inside, usually the corner beside the counter (we love to see the whole view of the cafe from here 🥺). And when I’m alone, I sit near the bookshelf, engrossed in reading books (usually unaware about the time, it just passes pleasantly). I cherish all the time spent here with people, some have gotten distant, some have gotten closer; I haven’t forgotten any moment. Apart from finding our corners at Dohiti, we found leaving a part of ourselves as well. I may have kept my artsy side aside, but I’m glad that the tiny little origami with my sketches have found their little home at Dohiti. Thank you for being our friendly neighbourhood bakehome 💛.”

“I miss Dohiti, my comfort place in Pune. I had to shift back to Chennai and still call Dohiti my home.“

"My love for Dohiti knows no bounds. And neither do the number of times I’ve finished assignments and exam papers there. While I’m usually not comfortable working in open spaces, Dohiti has been a haven of comfort, nurture and nourishment. I’ve met people there who are absolutely close to me now. From their herbal tea for zukaam to their hot chocolate and croissants and cakes and farmer’s sandwich for dil ka dard, Dohiti becomes a motherly embrace to its customers."

For gatherings centred around food
We bring the Dohiti kitchen to celebrations and events where food is meant to be shared and remembered.
